Is Ne-Yo in over his head?

Ne-Yo, now senior vice president of A & R at Motown records, announced by Barry Weiss the Chairman of A & R, Ne-Yo originally from Def Jams Recording has his resolutions in order for 2013. He has recently shared with everyone that he’d like to include the country genre featuring Taylor Swift. Some however doubt his decision.

Ne-Yo is also confident in himself and has told other artists such as one of the group members of One Direction that he knows what he’s doing.

Ne-Yo, three time Grammy Award winning, multi-platinum recording artist, is working toward his fifth studio album. This album is expected to be released in summer for his Motown debut. He co-starred the role in Red Trails, as well as WWII movie George Lucas the newest one. The NBC television season that is coming soon known as The Voice has Ne-Yo as a mentor for Cee-Lo Green’s team. Motown is really looking forward to Ne-Yo being apart of their family. Ne-Yo is ecstatic to be apart of this family at Motown, but nervous. He knows he has a huge role to play, follow and stay on task with, although he says no one should worry because he knows he can do it.

Taylor swift an American singer and songwriter released her self-titled debut album in 2006. She is a country pop singer, and her albums are titled by the recording Industry Association of America as multi-platinum. She was a nominee at the 50th Grammy awards for Best New Artists. She released her second album in 2008, known as fearless and that had won Album of the Year for the 52nd Grammy Award show.

Both artists seem to have everything together, and would make a great team. Genres can be mixed together, and still be successful.

Stereotude supplied me with the information.
