Hello, I am Desiree, a 17 year old girl. I am a senior this year. I listen to music 24/7 and I like to dance along with it. When I was little I’d have two radio stations on, between mine and my sisters’ rooms. I’d go back and forth from room to room dancing to the type of music it was playing. If it was slow I’d dance slow, until I reached the other room where it was up beat, then I’d get crazy and dance like hip-hop.
This blog is to inform viewers on the latest musical hits of the year. Different artists in different genres will be discussed. I’ve always listened to music, but not just one category. From pop to country and from rap to classical and from rock to hip-hop and etcetera. My ears are always open for any artist to reveal their talent.
I know all the latest hits that come on the radio because I never shut it off, even when I have company. I research the music that is produced, whether or not the artist wrote it and how it’s rated. Not all artists stick with only one genre. Some artists create songs for country and for hip-hop, instead of only one genre.
If you are interested in music as much as I am, you’ll notice who’s receiving awards. I like to consider why the artist who received an award had achieved it. Also, to compare what artists didn’t get as much recognition, whether or not they are in the same genre. Artists that I like at an even level don’t share the same amount of awards or the same type. It’s interesting to view the background information on different artists I admire. <3
